95 pts “Deep ruby to purple at the rim. Blueberry, olive, rosemary, and bresaola aromatics. Full bodied with serious concentration of black and blue fruits filling the core. Tannins have the power and precision to ensure that weight is controlled and as it flows the deep, meaty undertones are revealed. Finish is long and we see a slight lift from acidity, while a hint of dried rosemary lingers. A lot of wine here and will reveal many more layers with time.” Stuart Knox The Real Review February 2023

94 points “Old vine Grenache from a single block planted in 1858 at the Stonegarden Vineyard in Eden Valley. This is the main ingredient, as stated in the name but there’s a splash of Mataro, Shiraz and Cabernet representing a total of 5%. Granitic soils at 400m elevation. Straight away, it’s such an elegant bouquet. Velvety fruits, red and black plums, ripe raspberries, violets and truffles, mossy wood, herbs. A lovely melange of flavours with Syrah making a statement of black olive tapenade through mostly Grenache’s ripe strawberry characters. Flowing firmly but softly. Perfectly-tailored suit of tannins, with balancing acidity and alcohol. Poise. Quality is written all over it. No surprises here. Bravo.” Kasia Sobiesiak, The Wine Front, September 2022

93 points “Dark berry and asphalt with some black licorice. Medium to full body, round and juicy tannins and a creamy finish. Lovely citrusy acidity at the back palate.” James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, October 2022
