95 pointsQuite striking in the glass, vibrant crimson-red with cherry-red edges. A spicy, subdued nose of ironstone and red licorice, oak-char and cinnamon. Fruit emerges on the palate, though there’s nothing sweet about it. Red berries peel off a tightly-wound core of spice and soft tannin. Understated and classy – a pinot-esque elegance to it. Beautiful wine. “ Nick Butler The Real Review March 2020

94 points “Striking, with dark, compact notes of huckleberry, wild blackberry, blueberry and espresso that are fragrant, pure and generous. Velvety tannins and details of cigar box, gunpowder tea, freshly cracked black pepper and spice go on and on. Epic finish. Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvèdre. Drink now through 2035.” MaryAnn Worobiec Wine Spectator April 2020
